Reports are indicating the demise of the RX-8 model after 2011. In production for 8years or so, and only 1 refresh so far for the 09 model year, everyone thinks the RX-8 is a goner. It can't meet air quality regulations in Europe, and has a horrible rap sheet in the MPG category makes the Renesis a walking dead man.On the bright side, we're happy to see the RX-8 bow out to make way for it's Wankel replacement WHEN it comes. We don't think Mazda's just gonna kill the RE, we're holding hope for a replacement zoom zoom RX. Mazda, make it with 2 doors, 2 seats, and the venerable Wankel, and we're ready with the nickels and dimes for a down payment!
BTW: Offer it in yellow and I'm sold!
